The popular May Fair, organised by the Friends of Valentines Mansion will return to the mansion on Saturday 9 May.

With over 30 stalls and events including a mix of heritage, charity, hobby and craft stalls and even music by the Fairlop Brass Band there is something for everyone.

Special activities will be taking place for children including a Punch & Judy show, Maypole dancing, badge making and children’s chess with giant chessmen. Children aged between 4 and 12 years will have the chance to experience “life below stairs” in interactive sessions in the Victorian kitchen taking place throughout the day.

The May Fair will run between 10am and 5pm, with refreshments available between 10.30am and 4.30pm. Tickets are £2 (payable at the door), free for under 12s.
