Last weekend was a busy one at Valentines Mansion and Gardens, with an ice rink (courtesy of the Council's Arts & Events Team), and an evening of fun crafts and stories on Friday in the house.

Families could make and decorate colourful paper chains to hang on our newly installed Christmas tree and also enjoy stories from Tony Cranston's vast repertoire in the Family Room.

Whilst children shrieked with delights at Tony's creations, parents could relax with a glass of mulled wine or talk to staff about the exciting
programme of family events at Valentines.

Lauryn and Ethan (pictured), created the longest
and most ornate paper chain for the Christmas tree and proudly decorated the tree with it.

The Mansion team is planning more fun family events, so what this space for some more pre-Christmas fun!
