Valentines Mansion has now been opened to the public for just over a year and celebrated its first birthday in style back in February, with a full weekend of enticing activities for all.

Eager visitors could enjoy a performance by the very talented Ingleby Ensemble, make cakes in the Victorian kitchen, or even take part in a special love trail around the house and gardens. Costumed interpreters took visitors back to a time where Mrs Ingleby lived at Valentines and enjoyed tea undisturbed by the level of attention.

We are hoping to continue to attract visitors young and old thanks to an exciting events programme and the development of our arts provision, so look out for our next What's On guide!

A huge thanks to all our volunteers and partners who helped make the day a success, including members of the Ingleby choir, The Valentines Mansion Trust and the Friends of the Mansion, and, of course, our wonderful Mansion volunteers.
